Job brief

We are looking for a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant to actively support our lawyers in the management of their mandates. This role combines administrative and legal tasks, with an essential contribution to the efficiency of the service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative and legal tasks related to civil law cases

  • Open and organize client files (mandates, correspondence, supporting documents, etc.)

  • Plan agendas: meetings, hearings, court deadlines

  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of files and respect for deadlines

  • Drafting legal proceedings (complaints, queries, etc.)

  • Review and adapt legal documents

  • Checking the grammatical and editorial conformity of the writings

  • Manage communications with customers, courts, and other relevant parties

  • Classify documents (paper and digital) and ensure that they are properly maintained

  • Perform various administrative tasks (time entry, invoicing, expense tracking)

  • Actively participate in the life of the team with a proactive and collaborative approach

Desired profile

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position

  • In-depth knowledge of civil law terminology and legal procedures

  • Proficiency in Aliform software

  • Excellent written and oral communication in French and English

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

  • Attention to detail, rigor and ability to work with tight deadlines

  • Autonomy, discretion, sense of initiative and professionalism

  • Team player and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
