Azran Avocats, recognized for its excellence and human approach to law, is looking for a Legal Assistant to join its team.
This position is essential to ensure the smooth running of the firm’s legal and administrative activities.
As a legal assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing cases, preparing legal documents, and supporting lawyers in their day-to-day tasks.
This position requires great rigour, excellent organization and the ability to work under pressure.
You will need to be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Support for lawyers: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the firm’s lawyers, managing their agenda, scheduling their meetings, and arranging their business travel.
    You will also be responsible for preparing files for hearings and managing correspondence.
  • Case Management: Create, organize, and update client files, ensuring that all documents are properly filed and accessible.
    You will be responsible for managing electronic and paper files, as well as archiving.
  • Preparation of legal documents: Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
    You will also be responsible for preparing documents for hearings, meetings and client consultations.
  • Communication with customers: You will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth and professional communication.
    You will have to answer their questions, keep them informed of the progress of their case and organize meetings with the lawyers.
  • Coordination of the firm’s activities: You will help coordinate the day-to-day operations of the firm, taking charge of managing phone calls, organizing internal and external meetings, and providing logistical support for special events.
  • Administrative Support: You will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including managing mail, ordering office supplies, and coordinating technical support services.

Requirements:

  • Experiment: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role is required.
    Experience in a law firm is strongly desired.
  • Language skills: Excellent command of spoken and written French, as well as a good knowledge of English.
    You must be able to write legal documents in both languages.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.
    Experience with Aliform software is a plus.
  • Personal qualities: Sense of organization, rigor, autonomy and ability to work under pressure.
    You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Service: You must be customer service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
    Your ability to handle delicate situations with discretion and professionalism is essential.
